Welcome to the Community Development Division (CDD). CDD is one of three divisions comprising the City of Omaha’s Planning Department. Its primary mission is neighborhood revitalization. Through housing and other community development programs, CDD addresses a variety of quality of life concerns in the City’s older, more distressed neighborhoods. The links located to the left will give you an understanding of CDD programs and processes but should you need more detail, there is contact information provided.

2021 CDBG and HOME Application Guidelines, Instructions

Omaha has been awarded a Choice Neighborhood Grand from HUD. The focus of this grant will be on the Southside Terrace - Indian Hills neighborhood.
