The Omaha Lead Registry is a repository of lead-hazard control activities. Information presented on the Registry represents past property conditions. Past results are not a guarantee of current or future lead-hazard conditions at any property. Records of these activities come from three sources; the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the City of Omaha, and the public. Therefore, three categories of information are presented; EPA-initiated Activities, City-initiated Activities, and Owner-initiated Activities.

Information presented on this website represents past property conditions. Past results are not a guarantee of current or future lead-hazard conditions at any property. Records of these activities come from three sources; the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the City of Omaha, and the public. Therefore, three categories of information are presented; EPA-initiated Activities, City-initiated Activities, and Owner-initiated Activities.

  • EPA-initiated activities includes property specific information consisting of soil testing and clean-up results, exterior paint testing and stabilization results, and dust response information. The EPA's data is irregularly updated.

The most up-to-date information about a property may be obtained by contacting the City of Omaha Lead Information Office at (402) 731-3045.

  • City-initiated Activities includes the results of risk assessments and lead-based paint hazard mitigation activities conducted by the Housing and Community Development Division of the City of Omaha Planning Department. City-initiated data is irregularly updated.
  • Owner-initiated Activities includes information provided to Omaha Lead Registry by private citizens and organizations. Owner-initiated data is irregularly updated.
