    What's Happening

The City of Omaha and Omaha-Council Bluffs Metropolitan Area Planning Agency (MAPA) are coordinating with community members to develop the Forever North Strategy. The effort will:

• Build from previous plans and studies, such as the North Omaha Village Revitalization Plan and the Village Square Development Plan.

• Craft strategies for development and accommodating multiple modes of transportation.

• Thoughtfully consider corridor history and culture.

• Help increase the corridor’s quality of life and competitive advantage within Omaha.

• Identify Early Action Projects.

The planning process began spring 2019and will continue through fall 2019.
